they had maintained, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” (Rev. 6:10). Jesus did not reply as: “OK, let’s do it now.” Rather, he said to them to wait. “They were told to wait a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed” (Rev. 6:11).
Now, Jesus is in heaven after he was killed on the cross, but the souls martyred who have met Jesus in heaven are not able to avenge their blood yet. They are not able to punish those who killed, tormented, scorned and mocked them. They were told, “Wait until the number is completed.” So this tells us that the whole system of heaven is not organized yet and is still waiting to be completed. If even the martyrs are still waiting for their throne and the preparation of the kingdom of heaven, how can normal people go to the kingdom of heaven?
