people’ sin and gathers them as crops, which was also prophesied through the role of Joshua the highest priest (Zech. 3:8-9).

That work is done not by might nor by power, but by the Spirit of God (Zech. 4:6). The role of spiritual Zerubbabel, the Olive Trees, is to remove sin from people. In order to give the role to the Olive Trees, God gives them ‘the golden oil’, which is the spring of the water of life, which is given to the Overcomer. (Zech. 13:1, Rev.21:6-7).

The capstone represents Jesus Christ. He identified himself as the capstone quoting the Scripture in Psalm (Ps. 118:22; Matt. 21:42). Zerubbabel brought the capstone, which means Jesus will be with him. Therefore, John the apostle recorded in the Revelations that Jesus will give the Overcomer a stone (Rev. 2:17). Therefore Zerubbabel was the symbol of two persons who would be chosen after Jesus and who would become his witnesses (Rev. 11:3-4).

Zerubbabel also finished the temple. The temple means churches, i.e. God’s people. We are God’s temple and God’s spirit lives in us (1Cor. 3:16). ‘Finishing the temple’ means completing the number of the righteous people, who make

up the temple. In other words, the role of Zerubbabel is to complete the 144,000, the righteous armies of God. It is the same as the prophecy that God will make the Overcomer a pillar in the temple and write on him the name of the New Jerusalem (Rev. 3:12). The New Jerusalem is the bride of the Lamb, 144,000 (Rev. 21:9-10, 14:1).

The Overcomer, who is the spiritual Zerubbabel, will be with the seven spirits of God. He has a plumb line in his hand to finish the temple, which consists of 144,000 saints (Zech. 4:10). The Overcomer uses a plumb line to check whether the temple is upright, which means the Holy Spirit measures your faith.

Nowadays, what God told Zechariah is being accomplished. God said, “What I indicated to Zechariah, my young servant, will be accomplished in your time.” This is the truth that will never be changed. We should know how precious our time is if the God’s prophecy is being accomplished with us.
