to go ahead with the construction. It began on November 5th, although I bought the land in September.

It was very cold when construction began. We had to build the bell tower. But it was risky to build the tower in the cold weather, because the concrete would have been partially frozen and the structure would have collapsed when it melted. After we poured the concrete, the weatherman reported that the temperature would be minus 14 degrees Celsius the next day. So I prayed God for his help. Then the weather forecast I heard on the radio during the night repeatedly changed. Finally the temperature rose above five degrees Celsius and it was warm to the last day of the year.

After we finished the bell tower, a storm hit with strong winds. It was so severe that I was worried about the tower. But the tower was strong enough to withstand the storm. At that time we stayed at Ahyun-dong in Seoul until December, the owner of the building in which our church was located wanted to terminate the rental contract. But I stayed there until December and moved into the new temple at the beginning of the next year, even though I could

not paint the wall. These were such difficult times.

God showed me his plan for the interior of the Harvest Temple in vision on August 20, 1984. He also showed me a scene in another vision for the work to broaden and pave the entrance road of the temple area on July 1 in 1985. God showed that we should plant beautiful trees on both sides of the road.

Because God showed me the entrance road in 1985, I planned to make the entrance road three years later, after finishing our temple. But he instructed again to make the entrance road as soon as possible when we were building our temple in 1987. So I immediately worked on purchasing the area to make the road. If I had tried to make the road later, as I had planned, it would have been big trouble because the price of the area went up very fast. The road will be fully paved soon after we finish the reclaiming work of the land for the third annex building.

I had some worry because some of the construction would be too difficult for our people’s limited skills. Because God instructed me to build the temple with my sheep’s effort, only I and our people were working on the construction.
