17:5). He is the shadow of God. God is the origin of the blessing that can bless all human beings and the father of many nations because he created humanity and will rule all tribes and people after he accomplishes his will.

God created human beings, but expelled them when they committed Sin. God does not allow sinners to come into his kingdom. Besides Adam and Eve, when Cain committed Sin, God did not accept his sacrificial offering (Gen. 4:5-7). When he killed Abel, he was expelled from among the people of God (Gen. 4:11-12). When his people were in sin, God killed them by flood in the time of Noah (Gen. 6:5-7). He also destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of their sins (Gen. 18:20-21). He ordered the Israelites to demolish Canaan to punish their sin (Lev. 18:24-25). When Israel committed the same Sin, he also destroyed the entire country (2Kin. 17:16-20).

God wants righteous people. He wanted to forgive the whole sin of Jerusalem if he could find but one person who deals honestly and seeks the truth (Jer. 5:1). When God saw what they did for repentance and how they returned back from their evil ways, he had compassion and did not

bring upon them the destruction that he had threatened (Jonah 3:10). When a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, the righteous things he did will not be remembered. When a sinner turns from his evil and does righteous, the evil things he did will not be remembered (Ezek. 3:17-21). John the Baptist and Jesus Christ preached “Repent, because the kingdom of heaven is near” (Matt. 3:2, 4:17). If we do not abstain from sin, we can’t come close to God.

God created all human beings and therefore he could also remove all of them if he wanted. But he did not remove us, because he needs us (Is. 43:7). Because we are cursed and living in human bodies of flesh and bone now, we cannot know how valuable we are. But God wants to wage a war against Satan with us. Therefore, humanity has the power to fight against Satan.

Of course, a human being does not have the power while he has a physical body. When he goes to God, he will receive the power. However, God will not accept anybody. After he saw Adam commit sin against God, he wanted to make a person who would never commit sin again. Our sins
