17:5). He is the shadow of God. God is the origin of the blessing that can bless all human beings and the father of many nations because he created humanity and will rule all tribes and people after he accomplishes his will.
God created human beings, but expelled them when they committed Sin. God does not allow sinners to come into his kingdom. Besides Adam and Eve, when Cain committed Sin, God did not accept his sacrificial offering (Gen. 4:5-7). When he killed Abel, he was expelled from among the people of God (Gen. 4:11-12). When his people were in sin, God killed them by flood in the time of Noah (Gen. 6:5-7). He also destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of their sins (Gen. 18:20-21). He ordered the Israelites to demolish Canaan to punish their sin (Lev. 18:24-25). When Israel committed the same Sin, he also destroyed the entire country (2Kin. 17:16-20).
