spirits are the same. At the moment we become spirit, we completely escape from the body and change to different shape.

The spirits of the dead are taken to Hades. Even God’s servants, the prophets, had been dragged out to Hades in the time of the Old Testament, because the circumstances in which God can take them to his world were not yet achieved. God does not take the spirits who have sin into his world. Before Jesus’ crucifixion, God could not cleanse people’s sins. That is the reason that God sent his only Son, Jesus, to this world.

In order for Jesus to take the souls of God’s servants from Hades, he needed the power to go to Hades, which Satan rules and the dead were taken to. Therefore Jesus said to John the apostle, “I hold the keys of death and Hades” (Rev. 1:18). After Jesus completed his mission, he obtained the ability to go to Hades and take out the souls who were martyred for God. Matthew saw in his vision that the tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died raised to life (Matt. 27:51-53). That was symbolic thing that Jesus took out the souls from Hades. did not take out everyone from Hades, only the souls of God’s servants and those who had been beheaded in martyrdom. They will be God’s army. They are now in God’s world. (Rev. 5:9, 6:9).

God wants conditions profitable for him and it is same for the Devil. Both of them are amassing their armies for a spiritual war. The Devil always opposes the plans of God. God’s first official announcement against the Devil was shown in the time of Moses. “You shall have no other gods before me” (Ex. 20:3). This was the first commandment of God.

If you die under the God’s grace and not under the Devil’s rule, the Devil knows that your soul does not belong to him. Therefore, the Devil’s messengers will not come to take your soul when you die. Instead, two angels will come to guide you directly into God’s world. Jesus said it to Peter as “the gates of Hades will not overcome it” (Matt. 16:18). In contrast, if you are under the Devil’s power, the God’s angels will not come even if you believe in God and call him. So automatically, the messengers of darkness will come and take you to the dark world, Hades.
