The New World
After the judgment, the 144,000 soldiers become kings of their kingdoms. Thus, there are 144,000 kingdoms in Heaven. Soldiers of heaven become kings and reign forever and ever. (Revelation 22:5)
They will also be priests and give glory to God, and will receive the authority to judge the right from the wrong. (Revelation 20:6)
The kings will meet God regularly (Isaiah 66:22-24) and enter the Holy City, Jerusalem. (Revelation 21:10) The walls of the city have twelve fountains, and on them are the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. (Revelation 21:14) 144,000 kings are represented by 24 elders, 12 representatives of 12 Spiritual Tribes of Israel and 12 Jesus’ Apostles.
The City’s width, length, and height are all 12,000 stadia (approximately 2,200km), (Revelation 21:16) the wall was 144 cubits (approximately 65m) thick, (Revelation 21:17), and the street of the city is fancy and magnificent. (Revelation 21:21) Since the Devil would have been destroyed, on no day will its gates ever be shut. (Revelation 21:25) The Holy City shines from God’s glory, and the Lamb shall be the light. (Revelation 21:22)
The River of the water of life flows from the throne of God and of the Lamb, (Revelation 22:1) on each side of the river stands the Tree of Life, with its fruits giving eternal life and its leaves reviving the world. (Revelation 22:2)
The 144,000 kings will enter the Holy City to serve God and will see His face. (Revelation 22:3-4) Not everyone can meet God. Since even the number of kings is 144,000, ordinary people cannot go near Him.
